Dr Tokhi is a registered professional civil/geotechnical engineer with 10 years of practical experience in consultancy and civil contractor firms. He has 10 years of experience as a researcher and lecturer teaching geotechnical and surveying subjects at the graduate level and ground improvement subject at master level. He obtained his B.E. in Civil from Monash University and M.Eng and Ph.D. in Civil Engineering from RMIT University. His expertise includes field investigations, field and laboratory testing, foundation design and testing, pile dynamics, ground improvement, earthworks, physical model testing, and numerical analysis.
